It’s been a little quiet here from me as among other things I’ve been planning our family holiday to Cornwall. This is our second family holiday since having Small Boy, the first being Center Parcs last year which he was a little too young to enjoy. He’s now two and I’m looking forward to showing him Cornwall and having some fun outdoors. As we’re not moving house due to stress and money and a lack of houses we like, we’ve decided to spend this year having fun instead. So while we are spending a modest amount on repairs and redecorating, we have put some aside for a few UK breaks.
Our break to Cornwall is the first one and I can’t wait. We have a strong family connection to Cornwall as my grandmother spent most of the war there. She and her sisters were children and my great grandfather was based there in the RAF. My husband and I honeymooned in Cornwall so this is going to be a sentimental trip for us too.
We’re staying in Newquay which we hope will be a great base for us. One place we really want to go to is the Eden Project which I haven’t visited since having Small Boy. We visited on our honeymoon and I loved it. We’re also planning on visiting Newquay Zoo. But we’re going to be there for five days and we need more ideas for things to do in Cornwall with a two year old.
Emma Reed provided with some great ideas at her blog but we need more! So hit me up with your ideas on places to visit in Cornwall with a toddler. I need ideas for indoor places in bad weather and outdoor places, particularly those which are good for little legs that tire easily, or are stroller friendly.
