Dermaworks Eyebrow Serum

If you’ve done the maths from my post about being an older mum you will know that I was in my teens and twenties though the nineties. In line with trends of the day I definitely overplucked to lick my thicker brows into shape. Of course now a more natural shape is de rigguer and I’ve struggled to get my brows anywhere close. But I also don’t have time to be off getting threaded or waxed! I’m not a huge fan of the heavy brow that looks a bit like Groucho Marx’s moustache but I have wanted a thicker, more natural look for a while, and even out my brows as one was a little thinner. I don’t tend to go for miracle cures but I discovered Dermaworks online and thought I’d give it a go. I’ve been using it twice a day for about seven weeks and now on my second bottle. I am really seeing results now. You just sweep it on your brows morning and evening and let it’s do its work. I still need to fill in a few gaps with powder but I really think the result is amazing! Apparently you have to keep using it to see the results, even if it’s a few times a week rather than everyday. I will definitely be keeping it up! Here’s my before and after.

Bimuno Nutritional Supplements

The lovely people at Bimuno sent me this delicious supplement, plus a host of other goodies to try. Each box of Bimuno Daily contains 30 sachets, each containing one daily serving of the supplement. It’s gluten free and provides the probiotics and fibre needed for gut health. As a busy parent who has been even busier rushing from crisis to crisis this past month, these have given me an extra boost. I’ve sprinkled my daily dose into tea and I haven’t noticed any taste or textures. I haven’t noticed any down sides but do think I’ve noticed an improvement in how I feel in the tummy department. I’m certainly less bloated.

Bimuno® DAILY POWDER easily dissolves in your favourite hot or cold beverage, whether it be coffee, smoothies, or fruit juices. Mix it in or sprinkle over your food, bake with it – anything that gets your appetite going! However you wish to include it, the choice is yours.

As well as the powder, I’ve also tried their pastilles, which is great alternative when on the go. You take two a day and they don’t really taste or anything. My husband tried this too! It was easy to take a strip in my bag and chew on a pastille when I didn’t have time to make a hot drink – perfect for rushing to work.

I’ve only been taking these for a month so will see how they go in the long term, but so far they get a big thumbs up from me!

There is also a “Travel Aid” in the range – perfect for IBS sufferers like me who don’t do well when their usual diet or routine is changed. You take the supplement the week before you travel. I haven’t tried these yet but will definitely use them before I go in our holidays this year.
