I’ve tried just about every planning tool there is, and for each element of my life I prefer something different. For my blog, I like to map everything out online. For my family activities, I like a monthly family planner. For holidays or events, I like lists. But when it comes right down to it, even if I have all these swish gadgets, I still need to write a list of what I need to achieve TODAY. That’s where a great organiser comes in. I particularly need this in my day job when even the best laid plans go out of the window and I need something which I can add to throughout the day. I also find the physical act of ticking something off a list hugely rewarding. We have awful standard to list pads in work, printed in their thousands no doubt and a bit too cumbersome to carry about.
This is where a great personal planner comes in. Something that you can use to sit down an plan your day, note what needs to be done the next day and add to as things come out of the woodwork at you. That happens to even the best organised person like me. This is where something like these planners from Old English Company from.
They come in a choice of four colours and are the perfect size for your desk or handbag. The art is in the simplicity of their designs and every product is uniquely hand lettered to create stylish, uncomplicated designs. This is perfect for me (and bloggers obsessed with flat lays!). They’re £11.95 and can be bought online here. I dare you go visit their online shop and not find something you want to buy – there’s homewares, gifts, prints and more!
